I had the privilege of interviewing a life-long friend from New Tribes Mission with whom I was raised in Panama. Our families moved to Panama within several months of each other. We both arrived just prior to our 3rd birthdays. While we were never in the same dormitory, we were in the same grade and have a multitude of shared experiences. In this interview, Mandy courageously shares about the sexual abuse she endured as a young child, her experience at our boarding school, Escuela Hogar Misionero, and steps she's taken towards healing. We also shared a lot of laughs, reminiscing about a few of our childhood shenanigans.
